Grassroots Grants
Grassroots Grants was set up by the Government department, the Office of the Third Sector to provide small grants to local voluntary and community groups between 2008 and 2011.
The aim of the scheme is to increase immediate grant funding and capacity building support to small voluntary and community groups and organisations throughout the area, enabling them to continue or expand their work.
How much funding is available? |
Grants totalling up to £5,000 per organisation during the period July 1st 2008 to March 31st 2011 are available. |

How do I apply? |
To apply for a grant under this scheme please complete the attached application form. For all grants GGto£5000 |
What are the deadlines? |
Our deadline days are the days by which we must receive a hard copy of the application form, signed, with all other documents requested and with all questions raised by us about your bid having been answered. The next deadlines for completed applications are midday on 22nd October, 22nd December and 18th February 2011. Decision making meetings are held approximately 2 to 3 weeks after deadline dates.
