Comic Relief 
50% of the available funds will go to sports projects that
- increase access to sport and exercise for people who face social exclusion and isolation
- help people who are experiencing difficulties in their lives.
The remaining funding will support community groups running projects that
- increase local services,builds skills of local people, increase community cohesion
- respond to local economic needs.
How much funding is available? |
Grants between £1,000 and £10,000 are available. However, the total annual fund is under £18,000 and it is anticpated that only projects that show exceptional benefit will receive grants towards the higher range. |

To apply for a grant under this scheme please complete the attached application form. |
What are the deadlines? |
Our deadline days are the days by which we must receive a hard copy of the application form, signed, with all other documents requested and with all questions raised by us about your bid having been answered. The next deadlines for completed applications are midday on 22nd October, 22nd December and 18th February 2011. Decision making meetings are held approximately 2 to 3 weeks after deadline dates.
